Phillipsburg resident, Mary Bandt McClure, passed away Monday, January 19, 2015 at the Phillips County Hospital in Phillipsburg, KS at the age of 93.
She was born Feb. 23, 1921 in Glade, KS, the daughter of Benjamin & Lizzie (McClaskey) Sparks. Her husbands, Amel Bandt and Woodrow McClure, as well as her son, Layton Bandt, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her son, Leland Bandt, of Erie, CO; her sister, Jenny Trellinger of Oregon; 3 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Jan. 21, at 10:00 a.m. in the Church of God, Phillipsburg, with Pastor Tim Krafft officiating. Burial will follow in the Marvin Cemetery, Glade, KS.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Jan. 20, from noon – 9 p.m. at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg.
