Frank Wolfgang Post passed away Friday, November 21, 2014, due to an auto accident in Osborne County, Kansas at the age of 44. He was born on September 9, 1970 to Earl Franklin and Rose (Konefault) Post in Memmingen, Germany.

Frank graduated from Stockton High School with the Class of 1989 and was Homecoming King that same year.  He attended Washburn and Fort Hays State Universities and proudly served his country in the United States Army for eight years during Desert Storm.

Frank was a kind man who had a great and loving heart. He was very creative and enjoyed writing letters to the editor. To know him was to love him. He was a wonderful person who always had a smile, and a witty sense of humor.

Frank is survived by his mother Rose Post of Topeka; brother, Kenneth Clay Post and wife Michele of Carl Junction, Missouri; sisters, Karen Post of Stockton and Diane Lynn Jones; half-brothers, Kelly Post and wife Tammy of Stockton, Cliff Post, and Andrew Post; nieces and nephews, Kristian Slade Paine, Shelbi Post, Joshua Post, James Post, Jordan Post and Katy Post.

He was preceded in death by his father Earl Franklin Post.

Frank was a no nonsense guy with a common sense approach to life, love, family and friends.  He was a man of strong faith and values.  Although he was taken from us too soon, the impact of his life will live on for generations to come in the hearts of all who knew him. Until we see him again, may the angels of heaven welcome him home with a loud and hearty “Hooah!”

A Graveside Service will be held at the Logan Cemetery in Logan, Kansas Monday, December 1, 2014, at 2:00 P.M.  There will be no visitation.

Memorials are suggested to the Humane Society and may be sent in care of Plumer-Overlease Funeral Home, 723 N. 1st, Stockton, KS  67669.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.plumeroverlease.com.
