Hays, Kansas – Jason Michael Schmidt, age 37, died Friday, November 24, 2017.
He was born May 15, 1980, in Hays, Kansas, to Keith Gerard and Janice Marie (Dechant) Schmidt.
He worked in construction, concrete finishing and did auto body repair. Jason enjoyed electronics, working on old car, riding motorcycles. He attended Hays High School and was a member of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include his children Harlie Schmidt and Damian Schmidt, both of Hays, KS; his parents, Keith and Janice Schmidt, Hays, KS; one sister, Angela Schmidt and her children, Tyra, Mason, and Skyy, Tempe, AZ; his grandmother, Esther Schmidt, Hays, KS; many uncles, aunts, nephews and nieces.
A private family service and inurnment will be held at a later date. Memorials are suggested to The Keith Schmidt Family in care of Cline’s-Keithley Mortuary of Hays, 1919 East 22nd Street, Hays, Kansas 67601.
