LUCAS, KS – Gene Arthur Seirer, age 80, passed away on Wednesday November 8, 2017 in Smith Center, KS. Gene was born the son of John & Dorothy (Gier) Seirer on August 29, 1937 in Lincoln County, KS. He was a retired grocery store owner/operator.
Gene was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Lorraine Homewood, Judy Kirby; brothers Galand Seirer, Gordon Seirer & Gary Seirer.
Survivors include his wife Marilyn of the home; daughter Tresa Finch of Smith Center; son Tracy (Carolyn) Seirer of Hays, KS and Troy (Tina) Seirer of Manhattan, KS; 7 Grandchildren, Darcy (Justin) Couse of Lucas, Denyse (David) Kattenberg of Smith Center; Dayna (Tim) Weltmer of Smith Center, Mykel (Arelyn) Seirer of McPherson, Maryssa Seirer of St. George, Trenton Seirer of Tyler, TX & Shane Seirer of Hays; 9 Great Grandchildren Dharma, Dayton, Dakota, Dominick, Deklynn, Drake, Darris, Dayvie & Roland; a sister Lavonne Rupert of Salina; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
