Kathleen M. Hauck, daughter of Manuel and Isabelle (Manzo) Millan, was born November 5, 1931, in Selden, Kansas, and passed away at the Nebraska Heart Institute in Lincoln, Nebraska, on November 7, 2017, at the age of 86.
Kathleen grew up in Selden, Kansas, and graduated from the Norton Community High School. On September 17, 1954, she married Don “Shorty” Hauck in Phillipsburg, Kansas. They made their home in Norton where she was a CNA for many years. Her loving husband, Shorty, passed away July 8, 2004.
Kathleen was a member of the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Norton. She lived her life to the fullest. She enjoyed cooking and special times spent with her family and friends. She especially enjoyed her gambling trips with her sister-in-law, Donna.
Survivors include: many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews, who were like her own children; three sisters-in-law, Donna Millan, Norton; Maxine Millan, Wichita, Kansas; and Joan Hauck, Miltonvale, Kansas; other relatives and many friends.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, four brothers, Robert, Joe, Manuel, and Nish Millan, and one brother-in-law, Frank Hauck.
