Danny J. Pfeifer, 51, Hays, died Monday, December 19, 2016 at his home.
He was born January 18, 1965 in Hays the son of Tony “Red” Jr. and Geraldine (Brull) Pfeifer. He was a 1983 graduate of Victoria High School and attended Fort Hays State University. He was a food sales representative and a talented musician and songwriter. He attended St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Munjor. Danny enjoyed his salads, seeds, licorice, and Keystone Light. He also enjoyed watching sports and was an avid Kansas State and Kansas City Royals fan. He loved his dogs, church, spending time at the farm and with his Mom and family.
Survivors include his mother; Geraldine Pfeifer of Hays, one son; Ryan Pfeifer of Hays, three daughters; Abby Pfeifer and husband Ryan of Hays, and Anna Pfeifer and Isabelle Pfeifer, both of Hays, two grandchildren; Ella Pfeifer and Liam Pfeifer of Hays, four brothers; Anthony Pfeifer III and Karla Reed, Tim Pfeifer and wife Karen, Terry Pfeifer and wife Cathy, and Dave Pfeifer and wife Kristen, all of Hays, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father; Tony “Red” Pfeifer, Jr. and a daughter; Victoria Rose Pfeifer.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Munjor with Fr. Jarett Konrade officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until time of service on Thursday at the church.
